When I shoot a new model, especially a young model with not much experience, one of the first things I try to do is to explain my philosophy of facial expressions. (short version: keep it natural) This is somewhat successful as long as the models speak English. Celine is an extremely cute Czech model, but not an English speaker, so we had some communication failures as first. You may notice some stiff "sexy" smiles and awkward sideways glances in the beginning of this set, but she soon relaxed and gave us some genuine happy faces and much more successful poses.
