Here are some photos that were taken just a couple days ago in my Oakland studio. The model is Layla (parents evidently big Clapton fans) She was visiting from LA. and we spent the day doing five or six different sessions for that day. You'll see some very explicit poses here - not that there's anything wrong with that, of course. Also, I stayed away from my signature canvas set and forced myself to branch out with some natural light work, as well as some variations on my normal strobe lighting. Layla is a sweet-heart, no matter how stern she looks in these pics. I'm sure we'll have her back in the studio for more shots in the future. (For those of you interested in lighting, by the way, you can use an old photographer's trick, and just look closely in her eyes in the portrait shots. There you'll see where the lights are placed, and you may even see me reflected in there between the two big softboxes.)
